Safeguarding

St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are fully committed to ensuring that consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff in our schools.

Our Child Protection Policy clearly sets out how we deal with concerns as a school. A link to the policy can be found below.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead for the school is Mr Mark Hilliam (Headteacher), the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mr Mark Isaacs (Assistant Headteacher). You will see from our posters around the school that Mrs Deanne Fitzpatrick (SENCO) is also a point of contact.
